Occasionally there may be a problem with the OWL system itself. This error could be caused by the browser, the network, the server, your connection or something similar. It could also happen if you attempt to access OWL by reproducing or editing the URL’s that you see in the OWL system. When a system error occurs, the title of the page will be An Error has Occurred in OWL. When this happens, administrators will be automatically informed of the problem. If it is a systematic or recurring problem, it will be fixed.
1. Click the Return link that is provided.
2. Try to return to the Course Assignments page and start your assignment again.
3. If you can’t get your assignment going again, restart your browser and try logging back into OWL.
4. If the error still persists, you will need to wait a day or so until it is resolved.
