Report Trouble

If you have previously logged into OWL successfully for your current course, but are having trouble now, you can submit a login trouble message, to notify the course administrator of your problem.

 

To report login trouble:

1.    Navigate to the Login Help page.

2.    Select the third link Report Trouble.

3.    On the Report Login Problem page, you will be shown a list of all the courses and sections in the database that you are trying to log in to. Click the arrow image\arrow_icon.gif in the Section # column next to the course and section for which you are reporting login trouble. (If you cannot find the right course/section, click the Desired course not found link at the bottom of the page. Check the title on the login page to make sure that you are trying to get into the right department.)

4.    A new Report Login Problem page will appear. It will first show the information for the course and section that you selected. Next it will ask for information about you (name, student number, email, and phone.) Finally it will provide a comment box for you to provide any helpful information about the problem that you are having: when you could last login successfully, what might have changed, what error message you are getting, etc.) To help the course administrator determine and fix your problem, it is important that you fill out all of the information and supply any details that you can.

5.    Click on the REPORT LOGIN PROBLEM button.

6.    A confirmation page will appear saying that your login trouble report has been submitted. It may take a couple of days for your course administrator to receive the message and fix your problem. If you don’t hear back in email that your problem has been fixed, try to log in again in a few days.
