Request Login

If you have never successfully logged into OWL for your current course, you may not be rostered in the OWL system yet. You can submit a login request, to notify the course administrator of your problem.

To request a login:

1.    Navigate to the Login Help page.

2.    Select the second link Request Login.

3.    On the Request Login page, you will be shown a list of all the courses and sections in the database that you are trying to log in to. Click the arrow image\arrow_icon.gif in the Section # column next to the course and section for which you are requesting a login. (If you cannot find the right course/section, click the Desired course not found link at the bottom of the page. Check the title on the login page to make sure that you are trying to get into the right department. If you are in the right place, it may be that your instructor is not using the OWL system for your course.)

4.    The Student Information page will appear. It will first show the information for the course and section that you selected. Next it will ask for information about you (name, student number, email, and phone.) To help the course administrator roster you for OWL and contact you when done or with questions, it is important that you fill out all of the information that you can.

5.    Click on the REQUEST LOGIN button.

6.    A confirmation page will appear saying that your login request has been submitted. It may take a couple of days for your course administrator to receive and handle your request. If you don’t hear back in email that your request has been processed, try to log in again in a few days.

Note: If your course section is set-up for self-rostering, the request login process will differ from that described above. You will be asked to choose your own login and password, and you will be automatically rostered into the selected section and can begin working in it immediately.
